Account Deletion

You can delete your Subtrackt account at any time. Here’s how, and exactly what happens when you do.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Subtrackt and go to Settings.
- Choose Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm.
Delete by email
No access to the app anymore? Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll verify it’s you and confirm when it’s done.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (email, name, profile picture)
- Your sign-in identities and authentication tokens
- Your synced listening data: subscriptions, settings, playback positions, and per-segment history
- Your beta-list entry, if you have one
Deletion completes within 30 days. Short-lived encrypted backups expire on their own schedule after that.
What doesn’t get deleted
- Anonymous processing artifacts of public podcasts (segment boundaries, transcripts of published episodes). These describe the podcast, not you, and contain nothing tied to your account.
- Minimal records we’re legally required to retain (for example, billing records once paid subscriptions exist).
